Merits Scholarships
For students enrolling in the 2022-2023 academic year, Drew provides three significant merit-based academic scholarships. There is no need to submit a separate application for these rewards because all applicants will be reviewed.
New First-Year Students
Drew accepts high school applicants for one of four main scholarships: The Francis Asbury Scholarship, The Presidential Scholarship, The Dean's Scholarship, and The Drew Scholarship. These scholarships are given out at admission and are based on the applicant's previous academic achievements. Annual scholarship levels range from $10,000 to $25,000. They are renewable at the same level as when they were first awarded, providing no major changes in college tuition prices and continuing full-time enrollment.
International Students
At the time of enrollment, international students are immediately considered for all Drew University Academic Scholarships. International students can also apply for a limited number of need-based grants and student work opportunities. Students must complete the International Student Financial Aid Application and submit it to the Office of Financial Assistance by June 15 to be considered. At the time of application, international students must provide their Certification of Finances.
Transfer Students
Transfer applicants will be considered for annual scholarships ranging from $10,000 to $20,000, which are renewable for up to two more years at the same amount if there are no significant changes in college tuition prices and if they maintain excellent academic progress.
In addition to these awards, transfer students from community colleges members of Phi Theta Kappa and who earned an associate's degree are eligible for a $2,500 per year PTK Scholarship.
